Use the following questions to begin the process.

• What would make the website a success for me?
• Do my competitors have a website? If so what do I like and what don't I like about it?
• Are there websites I like in a related field? What could imitate and what could I do better?
• What are we doing offline that might be better done online?
• Who is my audience (current clients, future clients etc.)?
• Why would my audience visit my site? Why would they visit more than once?
• Does my audience have any disabilities that I need to consider (weak eyesight, colour blindness etc.)?
