Adding Tracks

The first step is to upload the mp3 files to your website:

From the column on the left of your screen, select Filelist. You will find a folder called mp3 or something similar. Click on this folder and select Upload Files. (The illustration below has been partially scrambled for privacy reasons.) Then upload the mp3s you require in the same way that you upload other kinds of files.

The second step is to add the mp3s to the playlist:

Click on the List icon in the far left column of your screen, and then click on your Playlist folder.

The Playlist icon will appear to the right; right-click on this icon and choose Edit from the Context Menu.

The items that then appear on the right are all the tracks found in the Playlist folder. Click on them to add them to the Playlist (left list). Select a track in the Playlist (to select multiple tracks, hold down the CTRL key while selecting tracks). Once an item is selected, use the following icons to manipulate the playlist:

Move track(s) to top of list.

Move track(s) to previous place.

Move tracks(s) to next place.

Move track(s) to bottom of list.

Remove track(s) from playlist.

If you move the tracks around you might need to also re-arrange the Optional titles for MP3s, as outlined below.

Remember to save your changes.

Renaming Tracks

By default, tracks are named according to their Filenames. If you want more user-friendly names enter them in the Optional titles for MP3s section. (Please excuse the spelling errors, these are attributable to the designers of the software!)

For easy reference, the first line is the first track, the second line is the second track etc.

Removing Tracks

Find the Playlist on your website, by clicking on the List icon in the far left column of your screen. Right-click on the Playlist icon then select Edit from the Context Menu. Select the track(s) you want to remove (use CTRL key to select multiple) and click the “remove” icon.

If applicable remove the track from the Optional titles for MP3s.

The file will still be on the server. To free up space, delete it using the Filelist module.

Remember to save your changes.
