AFL Tipping in Werribee

Tonight sees the start of the 2007 AFL season and also the launch of the Cup Of Life footy tipping competition for Life Community Church in Wyndham Vale has been running the competition for several years. Entry is open to people of all ages (and interest levels in football) from Werribee, Wyndham Vale, and Hoppers Crossing or surrounding areas.

You compete for a first prize valued over a $1000 which will be presented in the Gala Presentation night in October.

It's also a great way to test your system of picking winners, so whether you pick:

• Only home teams,
• Based on the aesthetic appeal of team's uniforms, or
• Divide the average disposal per game by the number of times the ball was kicked out of bounds on the full then subtract the team's marks per game multiplied by the average hitouts per ruckman in the 3rd quarter plus the missed tackles per game over the historical average number of the cheer squad members required to hold the teams banner up at the start of a match.

• Integrated payment for their entry using Paypal
• Facility to submit and view tips each week
